Derek Lam Resort 2013June,2012

As inspirations go, safari is a resort favorite, yet Derek Lam gave the theme a unique twist to great results. Silhouettes leaned toward oversize, i.e. a denim tunic top and olive silk anorak dress, and many of the fabrics veered technical, such as the outdoor furniture material used for a sheath dress and pencil skirt. Lam described the collection as Â"the fantasy of going away.Â" Added bonus? Â"ItÂ's something interesting to buy in November.Â"
